The Spiritual Cost of Unconscious AI Adoption

We’re standing on the edge of a massive evolutionary threshold
that will amplify your creative power or erode your very humanity

AI is not the real threat.

Your unconscious relationship to it is.

The question is not whether AI will take over, but who you will become in the process.

If you don’t make conscious efforts to evolve through inner work by:

Harnessing your creativity,
Strengthening your willpower,
Expanding your attention span
Cultivating your imagination,
Refining your ability to focus,

…you will be overtaken by the forces of AI and Transhumanism and lose your soul in the process.

This takeover will happen fast and subtly (as it already is).

Many people are already addicted to their phones, social media, and endless 10-second content designed to keep the dopamine hits and novelty coming.

It’s already eroding people’s attention spans and ability to focus.

Humanity is getting dumber by the day. Average IQ scores have been declining since the early 2000s. Recent data suggests that 30% of adult Americans can no longer read and comprehend a single page of text.

AI will accelerate this decline even further.

As the saying goes, what you don’t use, you lose.

If you stop thinking for yourself and outsource your creativity, problem-solving, learning, and studying to the AI God, you risk losing your soul in the long run.

AI will also feed your narcissism.

In a world where most people carry narcissistic wounds, feeling lonely, unseen, and desperate for validation, personal AI agents will mirror back the approval and attention.

But this is fake empathy. Rather than healing the wound, it will feed it.

At worst, people will start believing they’re actually building real relationships with these systems, which is already happening.

The other extreme is rejecting AI and technology altogether.

This is often fueled by shadow projections, inflated moral superiority, or paranoia, falling into a black-pill, doom-and-gloom mindset.

It’s a similar reaction some had to the internet in the 1990s or the fear of Y2K.

The solution is not to reject AI. It is a powerful tool that can, if used wisely, benefit humanity in incredible ways.

It’s about using AI consciously and creatively, in service to higher principles, under the guidance of your true Self.

It’s not about rejecting materialism but spiritualizing it.

It’s not about hiding in the woods, trying to live like our ancestors (regressive nostalgia).

The Divine works through all things, including technology, as part of the greater manifestation of the One in the Many. There is a paradox.

Technology is a tool. It must serve the soul and spirit, not replace or enslave them.

But you can only make that distinction if you are already in touch with your soul essence. This brings us full circle, back to the necessity of psycho-spiritual work to anchor yourself in the Divine and embody your soul in this lifetime.

The real task ahead is not to keep up with machines but to reclaim what makes us truly human.

In a world increasingly dominated by artificial intelligence, we’re called to become more soul-infused humans anchored in qualities no machine can ever replicate:

Intuition
Imagination
Presence
Embodied love and compassion
Higher purpose

And the capacity to create true meaning as an expression of the Divine within.

At the same time, a clear split is unfolding between organic, soul-aligned humans and the transhumanist agenda.

This is inevitable and natural in the context of the evolution of consciousness and the choices people make based on their level of consciousness.

I’ve written about this ongoing timeline split for over ten years, which is becoming more apparent by the day.

Paul Levy, the author of three books on Wetiko, defines Wetiko as a contagious psycho-spiritual disease of the soul, a parasite of the mind, that is currently being acted out en masse on the world stage via an insidious collective psychosis of Titanic proportions.

This “mind virus” – which Native Americans have called “wetiko” – covertly operates through the unconscious blind spots in the human psyche, rendering people oblivious to their own madness and compelling them to act against their own best interests.

I have referenced Wetiko extensively in my writings over the past ten years since Levy published his first book, Dispelling Wetiko, in 2013. Paul was also on the Comsic Matrix podcast three times, where we explored this topic more deeply in the context of current and past events:

The Four Ignoble Blindnesses Of Wetiko

A play on the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism by Paul Levy

1. You are blind to your own blindness, i.e., you are doubly blind. You’re blind and you do not know you are blind and in fact imagine that you can see clearly and come to believe that you can see more clearly than those who are clear-sighted. You then become unaware of what it is to be sighted, as you have no reference point for comparison.
2. You are blind to the very existence of wetiko and its malign effects within your mind. You do not see how you are unwittingly colluding with wetiko’s pernicious effects and thereby you are unaware of how you are having negative or ill effects upon others and the world.
3. You are blind to your own light, which is to say that wetiko blocks you from seeing both your own darkness as well as your own light. You are blinded to and incapable of seeing your true nature and identify instead with a false imposter of who you truly are.
4. You are blind to the fact that wetiko is a revelation. Being blind to your blindness, being blind to the existence of wetiko, and being blind to your own light necessarily results in being blind to wetiko’s revelatory function. Wetiko is potentially revealing your own creative genius, power and agency. Recognizing that wetiko is a revelation is to realize that wetiko contains encoded within it not just its own medicine and cure, but a blessing, for it is helping you to wake up to the dreamlike nature of the universe and to remember who you actually are.
